My career began in the creative trenches of Venice and Milan, rooted in classical Italian typography, art direction, and visual communication.
After graduating from the Scuola Internazionale di Grafica in Venice—where I later taught as faculty for Art Direction and Graphic Design, including American study-abroad programs with Boston University and Connecticut College—I founded Consavari Associati.
For a decade as founder and designer, I partnered with premier international brands including Ferrari, Lancia Automobili, Cibavision, SBK Superbike Global, and the City of Venice. Running a studio taught me how to operate in a sky-is-the-limit creative headspace while staying fiercely grounded in the pragmatism required of business.
Silicon Valley & High-Scale Leadership
Moving to California, I brought this European craft tradition to technology companies operating at massive global scale:
- Vice President of Design at Birdeye (San Francisco): Joined as part of the founding team, scaling the product and brand from zero to over 110,000+ business customers and $120M ARR. Directed an organization of 28+ to 90+ creatives across brand, product design, and web development, building two company-wide design systems.
- Product Design Lead at Amazon: For the Fire OS 5 launch, redesigned and shipped the core productivity suite (Email, Calendar, Contacts) through a next-generation, Alexa-first lens to over 50 million users, contributing to Echo and Fire TV UX.
- Creative Director at RingCentral: Directed the full company rebrand that established RingCentral as a cloud communications leader, playing a pivotal role in the marketing and brand execution that led to its 2013 IPO (NYSE
